Enable Runtime Explorer 2.5 Releases Beta Version

Automatic source change from Runtime

Enable Runtime Explorer 2.5 beta features new automatic source change technology and the ability to write your own plug-ins. Enable Runtime Explorer (or simply Rex) is a runtime component that helps developers with their development, debugging and technical support work. The introduction of the new Automatic Source Change technology in Rex 2.5 eliminates the iterations between runtime and design time.

Rex was originally implemented for Enable, the tool that makes PowerBuilder applications multilingual, so that translation work can be performed on-the-fly, rather than offline. The current plug-in architecture means that Rex is now a flexible and expandable general tool for all developers. You can explore/change your applications at runtime, and Rex will update the source code automatically. Move/resize controls, change properties/object scripts/DW SQL statements...and see the effects at runtime. New code can also be added the same way.

The package contains a sample application with Rex active, and a trial key is also available that allows you to test drive Rex with your own applications: choose from version 2.5 beta or the current version 1.7. Register now for the advanced beta version of Rex 2.5: www.enable-pb.com
